Our new scanning service can help. We can scan your manuscript and send it back
to you as an email attachment or on disk.
First you need to get a good-quality
photocopy of the original, with plenty of contrast. Please note that the
scanning is much more accurate if a photocopy is used rather than the original.
Email us to get instructions for where to send
your work. When you send it, please enclose return postage, preferably in the
form of a large, stamped and self-addressed jiffy bag, so that we can make sure your
ms is safely returned to you. Once we have looked at it, we will email your
quote to you and you can then decide whether or not you want to go ahead with
the scanning.
Please note that you will need to read the manuscript through carefully
after it has been scanned, to make sure that no errors have crept in during
the scanning process. Mistakes will
creep in as ‘l’ and ‘1’, ‘rn’ and ‘m’ can be confused during the scanning
process, but a spell-checker will find 99% of these errors.
